This is just a friendly reminder that Constitution Day will be Saturday, September 17. The Consolidation Appropriations Act of 2005 requires institutions that receive federal funds to hold an education program on the Constitution on that day. However, because this falls on a Saturday, colleges should provide this the week preceding or following the actual Constitution Day.
The Department of Education provides a resource webpage to assist colleges in meeting these requirements.

- The Library of Congress American Memory website provides many resources on the Constitution that can be found here.
- The National Endowment for the Humanities provides content on the Constitution through the EDSITEMENT website.
The resource webpage also provides links for materials from the U.S. Senate, the Census Bureau’s Statistics in Schools program and others.
